The series of „Bubble and Drop Interfaces” conferences started in 1995 in Florence as part of a European network project in the framework of the “Human Capital and Mobility Program”. Although being a great success, the 2^nd conference in this series had to wait quite long and took part only 9 years later. The organizers remembered the great atmosphere in the EU network project, and the fantastic results achieved and presented in Florence at this conference in 1995. After this 2^nd B&D conference organized in 2004 in Genoa, the series of follow up meetings had its real start. It was followed in regular intervals by meetings 2007 in Granada, 2009 in Thessaloniki, 2012 in Krakow, 2015 in Potsdam, 2017 in Lyon, 2019 in Sofia. The 9^th B&D conference was scheduled for 2021 in Lublin, however, due to the Covid-19 pandemic it was postponed two times. Now, it is definitely the time for the next conference of this series. We expect participants from all parts of the world in June 2023 in the wonderful town Lublin in the east of Poland.
